Karachi Kings faced a rocky start, stumbling to 44-4 due to impressive spells by Zaman Khan and Lahore’s left-arm spinner Ahsan Bhatti. However, Shoaib Malik and Kieron Pollard turned the tide with a crucial partnership of 95 runs. Pollard, in particular, showcased his batting prowess by scoring his 60th fifty in T20 cricket history.

The momentum shifted when Shaheen Afridi dismissed Pollard and took a brilliant catch to dismiss Malik. The game intensified with twists and turns, but Karachi Kings ultimately prevailed, thanks to Hassan Ali and Mir Hamza’s late blows, securing a dramatic victory.

Despite Zaman Khan’s efforts with the ball, Karachi Kings chased down the target, sealing a memorable win in what can be described as a PSL classic. Kieron Pollard’s all-round performance earned him the well-deserved Man of the Match award, adding another feather to his illustrious T20 career.
