Islamabad United skipper Shadab Khan reached a significant milestone in his T20 career during a match against Peshawar Zalmi at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. In the 20th match of the ongoing season, Shadab Khan claimed his 300th T20 wicket by dismissing Aamir Jamal in the 17th over of the second innings.

Facing Peshawar Zalmi, Shadab Khan showcased his bowling prowess by securing 2 wickets in his 4th over, concluding with impressive figures of 3-41. During his spell, he managed to curtail Aamir Jamal’s aggressive batting, who had earlier smashed a couple of sixes. However, Shadab Khan responded emphatically, eventually dismissing Jamal after a notable innings of 87 runs off 49 balls.
In addition to his bowling feat, Shadab Khan also contributed significantly with the bat, scoring a brilliant 80 runs off 47 balls. His all-round performance earned him the title of the man of the match. Consequently, Islamabad United emerged victorious, securing 7 points after 6 matches in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Looking ahead, Islamabad United is scheduled to face Lahore Qalandars on March 6 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in their upcoming match.
