Hundreds of leaders from the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) have submitted their nomination papers for the upcoming elections, and among these political figures is Sher Afzal Marwat, who is set to participate in the polls from NA-32 Peshawar.
Marwat, who also serves as Imran Khan’s lawyer and has faced legal challenges, officially filed his nomination papers in the provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), where the PTI has been in power for the past decade.

Earlier, Marwat encountered a setback from the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), but he secured relief after presenting his case before the Appellate Tribunal in the Peshawar High Court, appealing against the initial rejection of his nomination papers.
Following the Appellate Tribunal’s approval, Marwat addressed the media, expressing his concerns about the irregular distribution of tickets within the KP region. He noted that he would bring this matter to the attention of the PTI founder, indicating his dissatisfaction with the way tickets were allocated. Marwat specifically emphasized that both lawyers and youth were not receiving their fair share in the distribution of tickets in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
