Anas Shah Wins Jahangir Khan PSA Satellite Series 2024 Championship

In the Jahangir Khan PSA Satellite Series 2024, held at the PN Roshan Khan Jahangir Khan Squash Complex in Karachi, Pakistan Army’s Anas Ali Shah triumphed in a gripping men’s final. Anas Shah overcame fellow Army player Saddamul Haq with a score of 3-1.

Despite losing the first game 5-11, Anas bounced back decisively, winning the subsequent three games with scores of 11-5, 11-6, and 11-8, securing the championship in just 32 minutes.

In the U-17 division, Adnan Zaman demonstrated remarkable prowess by defeating Zuhaib Khan 3-0 to take the title. The finals saw the presence of squash icon Jahangir Khan and Atif Wasi, who awarded prizes to the winners and runners-up.

Jahangir Khan lauded the emerging talent in Pakistan, highlighting the need for enhanced international exposure to help these players succeed. He emphasized the necessity for increased government and corporate investment to restore Pakistan’s squash prominence.

Jahangir Khan also expressed gratitude to the sponsors and praised the event organizers, Pakistan Navy, and coach Naveed Alam for their significant roles in the event’s success.
