Javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem has dedicated his gold medal win at the Asian Athletics Championship in South Korea to the people of Pakistan, calling it a result of their prayers and Allah’s blessings.
Arshad secured the top spot with an 86.40-metre throw, marking his return to international competition since the Paris 2024 Olympics. Speaking to Samaa TV, he said, “Hard work is essential, but it is Allah who grants success.”

He thanked the Punjab Sports Board and his coaches for their support and advised the youth to stay committed to their goals. “Work hard, and Allah will help you,” he added.
Looking ahead, Arshad expressed his focus on the World Athletics Championship in September and urged the nation to continue supporting him.
