Chelsea appear to be delaying the transfer. The English club wants clarity on their own attacking options before giving the green light. They are monitoring the situation around other strikers, including Alexander Isak, before deciding Jackson’s future. This delay has created uncertainty even though Bayern remain confident.

Other clubs had shown interest in Jackson earlier in the summer. Newcastle and Aston Villa were linked, but their interest has cooled as Bayern push harder. Right now, Bayern are leading the race and are expected to return with improved terms.
For Bayern, the move makes sense. The club needs more depth in attack and believes Jackson can provide pace and strength. For Chelsea, the deal will depend on their wider transfer plans. Both sides are expected to continue talks in the coming days.
At this stage, Bayern remain hopeful of completing the transfer, while Chelsea are focused on securing the best financial outcome.
