In a major development for cricket fans, former Pakistan captain and star batter Babar Azam has signed with the Sydney Sixers, marking his debut in Australia’s premier T20 competition—the Big Bash League (BBL).
The Sixers announced the signing via their official social media channels, confirming that Babar was pre-signed ahead of the BBL overseas players draft. Under league rules, each franchise is permitted to secure one international player prior to the draft.
