Pakistan’s star batter Babar Azam has urged fans to stop referring to him as King Sing, stating that he has yet to earn such a title.
Following Pakistan’s victory against South Africa in the tri-series, Babar shared his thoughts on his performance, admitting that while he aims to score well, he struggles to finish innings. He praised Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Ali Agha for their contributions, saying such performances boost team confidence.

“Opening is a new role for me, and it’s a responsibility based on the team’s demand,” he said. “I try to play well, but after getting set, I am unable to convert it into a big innings.”
Babar also reflected on overcoming challenges, emphasizing the importance of moving forward with a fresh mindset rather than dwelling on past performances.
