ICC Delegation Inspects Rawalpindi Stadium for Champions Trophy 2025

An ICC delegation will visit Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium this Saturday to review preparations for the 2025 Champions Trophy. This marks the second phase of their Pakistan tour to assess the stadium’s construction and renovation work.

The six-member team will receive a briefing from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Director of International Cricket Usman Wahla and other officials. Rawalpindi will host three matches during the tournament, scheduled from February 19 to March 9, 2025. These matches include Bangladesh vs New Zealand, Australia vs South Africa, and Pakistan vs Bangladesh.

After this visit, the ICC delegation will head to Lahore to assess Gaddafi Stadium’s facilities and upgrades, following an earlier visit to Karachi’s National Stadium.

The tournament will be held in Pakistan and Dubai with eight teams, including Pakistan, India, New Zealand, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, South Africa, England, and Australia. The tournament starts on February 19 with Pakistan facing New Zealand in Karachi, and the highly anticipated Pakistan vs India match on February 23 in Dubai.
