Excitement is building as the tentative schedule for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 has been revealed, with India confirmed as the main host. The tournament is expected to kick off on September 30 in Bengaluru, featuring a high-stakes opener between India and Sri Lanka.
Due to ongoing diplomatic sensitivities, Pakistan’s matches will be held at neutral venues, with Colombo finalised as their base. The highly anticipated Pakistan-India clash is reportedly set for October 5 in Colombo — a fixture already stirring fan frenzy.

Pakistan will open their campaign on October 2 against Bangladesh, followed by tough group stage matches against Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, and Sri Lanka. Their showdown with Australia is slated for October 8, while their final group match will be on October 24.
The semi-finals are expected to be played in Guwahati and Colombo, with the grand finale scheduled for November 2, either in Bengaluru or Colombo, depending on conditions.
