Mike Hesson Drops Three Players from Pakistan Squad for Bangladesh Series

Newly appointed Pakistan head coach Mike Hesson has made changes to the squad initially selected by the committee for the upcoming series against Bangladesh by removing three players.

According to sources on Wednesday, the selection panel had originally named Abbas Afridi, Sufyan Muqeem, and Haider Ali in the team. However, Hesson replaced Sufyan Muqeem with Faheem Ashraf and Haider Ali with Hussain Talat.

Reports also reveal that the selectors held a meeting with Mike Hesson and Aaqib Javed in Islamabad to finalize the squad.

While the committee was considering resting Naseem Shah, Hesson decided to drop Abbas Afridi but kept Naseem Shah in the final lineup.
