After opting to bat, South Africa faced early setbacks as Shaheen Afridi and Abrar Ahmed dismantled the top order, leaving the Proteas at 28/3 in the powerplay. Abrar bowled Reeza Hendricks with a stunning googly, while Shaheen rattled Rassie van der Dussen’s stumps.

Miller counterattacked with eight sixes and four fours, forming a steady partnership with captain Heinrich Klaasen before Abbas Afridi dismissed Klaasen and Donovan Ferreira.
Shaheen (3/31) and Abrar (3/25) shone with the ball for Pakistan, while Abbas Afridi claimed 2/28.
