Noman Ali

Pakistan’s left-arm spinner Noman Ali has made an impressive move up the ICC Test bowlers rankings, rising four spots to claim the fifth position. This remarkable achievement comes after his stellar 10-wicket haul in the recent Test against the West Indies in Multan, which was pivotal in Pakistan’s series-levelling 1-1 result.

Noman’s exceptional performance earned him 806 rating points, making him only the 12th Pakistani bowler to surpass the 800-points mark in Test rankings. The 38-year-old spinner has been a key figure in Pakistan’s spin attack, contributing consistently with match-winning performances.

In the latest update, West Indies’ Jomel Warrican climbed 16 places to 25th, earning the Player of the Series title for his 19 wickets. Meanwhile, India’s Jasprit Bumrah continues to top the Test bowlers’ rankings.

In the T20I rankings, England’s Adil Rashid reclaimed the No. 1 spot, while India’s Varun Chakravarthy jumped 25 places to 5th. England’s Jofra Archer also made a significant move, rising 13 spots to 6th.

For batters, Australia’s Travis Head holds onto the top spot, while India’s Tilak Varma made a jump to second, coming close to Head’s lead. If Varma takes over the top position, he would surpass Babar Azam’s record as the youngest-ever No. 1 T20I batter.
