Haider Ali Wins Bronze in Men’s Discus Throw at Paralympics

Pakistani athlete Haider Ali from Gujranwala achieved a season-best throw of 52.54 meters in his final attempt, earning him a bronze medal in the Men’s Discus Throw at the Paralympics.

The competition took place in Paris, where Haider’s initial throw reached 52.28 meters.

Despite wasting his next four attempts, he secured the bronze with his impressive sixth and final throw.

The courageous athlete lives with Cerebral Palsy, a condition affecting movement and posture. According to the Mayo Clinic, Cerebral Palsy (CP) refers to a group of disorders caused by brain damage, usually occurring before birth.
