Japan And Australia Are Leading The Gold Medal Standings At The Paris 2024 Olympics

On the second day of the Paris 2024 Olympics, 13 additional gold medals were awarded, with Japan and Australia leading the gold medal count, each securing four golds.

After two days of events, Japan has earned four golds, two silvers, and one bronze, while Australia has matched Japan’s four golds and added two bronzes, totaling six medals.

In the overall medal standings, the USA is leading with 12 medals, including three golds, three silvers, and three bronzes. Host country France has accumulated eight medals: three golds, three silvers, and two bronzes. Italy has claimed one gold, two silvers, and three bronzes, while Kazakhstan has a gold and two bronzes. Belgium has earned one gold and one bronze. Germany, Hong Kong, and Uzbekistan each have one gold, and Great Britain has two silvers and two bronzes. Brazil has one silver and two bronzes, and Canada has one silver and one bronze.
