The Inter-Department Basketball Championship 2024 wrapped up in Risalpur on September 21, with the Pakistan Army claiming the championship title. Spanning five days from September 17 to 21, the event featured teams from various departments nationwide.
Organized in a pool format, the tournament showcased fierce competition among top teams. The defending champions, Pakistan Army, along with WAPDA, POF, and PAF, advanced to the semi-finals after the preliminary rounds.

In the semi-finals, Pakistan Army defeated WAPDA, while PAF overcame POF, leading to an exciting final match. On September 21, the championship final saw Pakistan Army triumph over PAF with a commanding score of 82-50, successfully defending their title.
