The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has concluded internal discussions on squad selection for the upcoming white-ball series and is now waiting on Cricket West Indies (CWI) to respond to a proposal to convert the ODI series into T20Is.
The move aims to help Pakistan fine-tune its preparations for key upcoming T20 events, including the ACC Men’s Asia Cup 2025 and the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. If CWI agrees, a joint T20 squad will be announced for both the Bangladesh and West Indies series.

No major changes are expected in the T20 lineup, though left-arm spinner Sufiyan Muqeem is likely to earn a spot. The inclusion of senior players like Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Afridi is still uncertain, with selectors encouraging strong domestic and league performances for a comeback.
The series is currently scheduled with T20Is on July 31, August 2, and August 3, followed by ODIs on August 8, 10, and 12, all set to take place at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad. The schedule may be revised depending on the final decision from the West Indies board.
