Saim Ayub’s Maiden Century Guides Pakistan to 10-Wicket Victory over Zimbabwe

Pakistan delivered an emphatic 10-wicket win over Zimbabwe in the second ODI at Queens Sports Club, taking a 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

Pakistan bowled Zimbabwe out for a modest 145, with debutant Abrar Ahmed starring with 4 wickets for 33 runs. Salman Ali Agha supported with 3 wickets, as Zimbabwe’s batting collapsed.

In reply, Saim Ayub dazzled with a blistering 113* off 62 balls, securing his maiden ODI century in just 53 balls, making him the third-fastest centurion in Pakistan’s ODI history. Abdullah Shafique contributed an unbeaten 32 as Pakistan reached the target of 146 without losing a wicket in just 26.2 overs.

The series has been closely contested, with Zimbabwe previously surprising Pakistan with an 80-run win in the first ODI despite a rain delay.
