Imran Mirza, father of former Indian tennis star Sania Mirza, has vehemently denied rumors suggesting his daughter’s alleged upcoming marriage to fast bowler Mohammed Shami.
Recent speculations in Indian media hinted at a potential union between Sania Mirza and Mohammed Shami, fueled further by edited images circulating on social platforms depicting Shami in wedding attire alongside Sania.

Reports indicated a planned August wedding, but both Sania Mirza and Mohammed Shami had remained silent on the matter until now. Imran Mirza, addressing the media, dismissed these claims as unfounded.
“This is all false. Sania has never even met Mohammed Shami,” Imran Mirza asserted firmly, rejecting the rumors outright.
It’s noteworthy that Sania Mirza was previously married to Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, with whom she shares a son named Izhaan Mirza Malik, residing with her. Earlier this year, Imran Mirza publicly confirmed his daughter’s divorce from Shoaib Malik, which had garnered considerable media attention.
