Shadab Khan Puts Country First, Sacrifices BBL and T10 League Contracts

Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan has showcased a strong commitment to national pride by turning down lucrative offers from the Australian Big Bash League (BBL) and the Abu Dhabi T-Ten League. Despite potential earnings in crores of rupees, Shadab Khan prioritized domestic cricket and rejected the offers.

Adelaide Strikers, a Big Bash League franchise, extended an offer to Shadab Khan, and he also had an offer to play as an icon player in the T-Ten League. However, he made the remarkable decision to sacrifice these opportunities for the greater good of representing Pakistan on the global stage.

In response to both offers, Shadab Khan stated, “Domestic cricket is going on in Pakistan, now I want to give priority to domestic cricket and cannot play Big Bash and T-Ten League due to National T20 Cup.”

This decision reflects Shadab Khan’s dedication to serving the country and prioritizing domestic cricket during ongoing national competitions. Other Pakistani players, such as Mohammad Haris and Ahmed Shehzad, have also declined offers to play in the Abu Dhabi T10 League due to their commitments to the National T20 Cup.
