Pakistan’s rising MMA star Shahzaib Rind from Balochistan has won the Karate Combat KC-49 Championship in Singapore. Known as “King Khan,” Rind defeated Brazilian competitor Luiz Victor Rocha to secure the World Karate Combat Light Heavyweight Championship title.
The victory is being hailed as a major accomplishment for Pakistan in the international martial arts scene. Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Singapore, Rabia Shafiq, congratulated Rind on her X account, calling his win a source of national pride and encouraging Pakistanis to support him.

Shahzaib Rind has an impressive track record, having previously won the world’s top full-contact striking league, Karate Combat, in the United States. He is also a six-time national champion, solidifying his expertise and dominance in martial arts.
