Jack Grealish has been named the Premier League Player of the Month (POTM) for August 2025 after a stunning start with Everton.
The England international joined Everton on loan from Manchester City earlier this summer. Many doubted if he could return to his best form, but Grealish has quickly silenced those doubts. His creative play and consistent performances helped Everton secure important early wins.
In his first three league matches, Grealish registered four assists and was central to Evertonβs attacking play. His partnership with Dominic Calvert-Lewin has given fans new hope for the season. His impact was so strong that voters and the Premier League panel selected him for the August POTM award.
This is the first time in Grealishβs career that he has won the Premier League POTM. The award is seen as recognition of both his talent and his revival after a difficult period at Manchester City.
Manager David Moyes praised Grealish for adapting quickly to his system. He noted that the midfielderβs creativity and work rate have been key to Evertonβs strong start. Fans at Goodison Park have also welcomed him warmly, with chants celebrating his name already echoing around the stadium.
The win also puts Grealish back in the spotlight for England selection. After missing out on Euro 2024, he is now pushing to regain a place in Gareth Southgateβs plans ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
For Everton, this award is not just an individual honour. It also highlights the clubβs improved performances under Moyes. If Grealish keeps delivering assists and match-winning displays, Everton may look to turn his loan move into a permanent transfer next summer.
