Islamabad United continued their unbeaten streak in the 2025 HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL), winning all five of their matches to dominate the points table midway through the tournament. With 10 points and a strong net run rate of 2.342, they remain the only team yet to be defeated.
Their latest triumph came against Multan Sultans, where they chased down the target with confidence, further strengthening their credentials as title favourites.

Meanwhile, the competition for playoff spots remains intense. Lahore Qalandars, Karachi Kings, and Quetta Gladiators are level on six points each, separated only by net run rate. Lahore surged ahead slightly following a narrow win over Multan, while Quetta gained momentum by edging past Karachi and Peshawar in recent thrillers.
At the bottom, Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans are in trouble. Zalmi have only two wins in six games, and Multanโs underwhelming performance โ with just one win so far โ puts them at serious risk of early elimination.
Upcoming fixtures like Karachi Kings vs. Multan Sultans and Islamabad United vs. Lahore Qalandars are set to be crucial as the playoff picture begins to take shape.
