The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the schedule for the Women’s Super-3 T20 Tournament. The competition will run from October 28 to November 5 at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.
The seven-match tournament will feature three teams: Champions, Incredibles and Warriors. The teams will compete in a double round-robin format before the final.
The PCB has organized the tournament to provide leading women cricketers with more competitive experience. It follows the National Women’s T20 Tournament, which took place in Faisalabad from October 10 to 26.
Three Teams to Compete in Women’s Super-3 T20 Tournament
Champions, led by Tuba Hassan, will face Gull Feroza’s Incredibles in the opening match on October 28.
On October 29, Champions will take on Muneeba Ali’s Warriors. Incredibles will then face Warriors on October 30.
The second round of matches will begin on November 1. Champions will meet Incredibles again on that day.
Champions will play Warriors on November 2, while Incredibles will face Warriors on November 3.
The tournament will conclude with the final on November 5. The top two teams in the standings will compete for the title.
39 Players to Participate in the Tournament
A total of 39 players will participate in the Women’s Super-3 T20 Tournament. Each team will have a squad of 13 players.
The competition aims to give the country’s leading women cricketers additional opportunities to improve their performances. It will also help players gain experience in high-level tournament cricket.
The PCB has arranged the event following the conclusion of the National Women’s T20 Tournament. The competition provides another opportunity for selected players to demonstrate their skills.
Match Timings and Live Streaming Details
All seven matches will begin at 10:00 am Pakistan Standard Time (PKT). Cricket fans will be able to watch the matches through livestreaming platforms.
The tournament will be available on tapmad and Tamasha. These platforms will allow viewers to follow the competition online.
The PCB has also announced prize money for the participating teams. The tournament winners will receive Rs. 1.5 million, while the runners-up will earn Rs. 1 million.
