Sajid Sadpara Summits Dhaulagiri Without Oxygen

Pakistani mountaineer Sajid Ali Sadpara has successfully climbed Dhaulagiri, the world’s seventh-highest peak at 8,167 metres, without using supplemental oxygen. The daring ascent further cements his status as one of the top high-altitude climbers in the world.

The climb was supported by Seven Summit Treks Nepal and Sabroso Pakistan, with technical gear provided by Kailas. Known for its steep terrain and dangerous weather, Dhaulagiri in Nepal is considered one of the toughest 8,000m mountains to conquer.

Sajid, son of the legendary Muhammad Ali Sadpara, has dedicated his career to completing the 14 highest peaks on Earth without oxygen—a dream once held by his late father. His recent achievement is being hailed by Pakistan’s climbing community and global mountaineering bodies alike.

He has already climbed K2 twice, one of those without oxygen, and is known for his involvement in high-altitude rescue efforts. Sajid’s resilience and dedication continue to inspire a new generation of climbers in Pakistan and beyond.
