CES 2026: Amazon Unveils ‘Ember Artline’ TV To Take On Samsung’s Frame

Amazon has introduced a new line of branded televisions at CES 2026. The company has officially named this range “Ember.” The launch marks Amazon’s strongest move yet into the premium TV market.

The first model in the lineup is the Ember Artline. This television is designed to compete directly with Samsung’s popular Frame TV. Amazon is targeting users who want both strong picture quality and stylish design.

The Ember Artline is a 4K QLED TV. It supports Dolby Vision and HDR10 Plus for enhanced contrast and color. The screen has a matte finish. This helps reduce glare from windows and indoor lighting. As a result, the display remains clear in bright rooms.

Amazon will offer the TV in two sizes. Buyers can choose between a 55-inch and a 65-inch model. Both versions measure only 1.5 inches thick. This slim profile allows the TV to sit close to the wall, much like framed artwork.

Design is a key focus of the Ember Artline. Users can attach one of ten magnetic frames. These frames allow the TV to match different room styles. However, the frame is not fully seamless. The bottom section remains visible. This area contains far-field Alexa microphones and the Omnisense sensor.

Omnisense is Amazon’s ambient sensing technology. It detects when someone enters the room. When no one is present, the TV automatically displays artwork. This feature helps the screen blend into the living space.

Amazon also uses artificial intelligence to enhance the art experience. Users can take photos of the room where the TV is installed. Based on these images, Amazon’s AI suggests artwork. The suggestions come from a library of over 2,000 free art pieces.

The Ember Artline runs on Amazon’s updated Fire TV interface. The new UI is cleaner and loads faster than before. Navigation is simpler, which improves everyday use.

Competition in 2026 is intense. Many brands now offer art-style TVs. LG has introduced its Gallery TV, among others. This makes the market more crowded than ever.

The Amazon Ember Artline will launch in spring 2026. Pricing starts at $900 for the 55-inch model. The 65-inch version will cost $1,100. Amazon’s entry adds another strong option in the premium TV space.
