Apple has released the second iOS 26.2 beta for iPhone developers, available as an over-the-air update starting Wednesday. The public version of iOS 26.2 is expected to launch in December 2025. Pakistani users with iPhone 13 or newer models will be able to access the new features once the update is officially rolled out.
One of the key improvements in iOS 26.2 is the updated Sleep Score system. The top rating has been changed from “Excellent” to “Very High,” and all category thresholds have been recalibrated. This update addresses feedback that the previous scoring system was too lenient.
The Apple Podcasts app also receives significant upgrades in iOS 26.2. AI-driven features now generate automatic chapters, link to mentioned podcasts, and organize related content. These enhancements are available globally, including Pakistan, and do not require region-specific settings.
Apple News has been redesigned with a more refined layout. The app now includes quick links to popular sections, improving navigation and user experience.
Other enhancements in iOS 26.2 include an expanded AirPods Live Translation feature, now covering additional European Union countries. A new Liquid Glass Lock Screen slider allows users to adjust the clock’s translucency with greater precision across different fonts.
The Reminders app has also been improved. Users can now set alarms and timers for urgent tasks, even bypassing Focus modes to ensure critical notifications are seen.
Developers and early testers are encouraged to try the beta version of iOS 26.2, while regular users are advised to wait for the stable December release. Apple continues to focus on improving usability, accessibility, and AI-driven features in its latest updates.
