The feature comes as part of watchOS 26, allowing more users to benefit without needing the latest hardware.
The rollout had been delayed pending FDA approval, which left the feature marked with an asterisk at launch. With clearance now secured, Apple is set to activate the hypertension alerts alongside its new smartwatch lineup.
