KRAFTON has officially confirmed its latest collaboration, bringing the iconic Bugatti Chiron to PUBG: Battlegrounds. The announcement was made on July 30, 2025, with the in-game launch set for August 13 on PC and August 21 on consoles.
The Bugatti Chiron is a French hypercar known worldwide for its powerful 1,500-horsepower engine and a top speed of over 420 km/h. Now, PUBG players can experience that same thrill inside the game.
This collaboration is part of PUBG’s ongoing series of partnerships with luxury automotive brands. In the past, PUBG teamed up with companies like McLaren and Tesla. The addition of the Chiron adds another high-end vehicle to PUBG’s expanding list of crossovers.
Realistic Customization for Bugatti Chiron in PUBG
Players will be able to customize their Bugatti Chiron in great detail. This includes both the exterior paint and interior design, as well as performance-inspired details. These features are part of the Contender System, PUBG’s premium vehicle customization platform introduced earlier in 2025.
KRAFTON says players can enjoy a unique experience by adjusting features that closely resemble the real-world version of the car.
How to Unlock the Bugatti Chiron in PUBG
While the vehicle hasn’t launched yet, here’s a general guide based on PUBG’s recent event formats:
- Join the Speed Drift Event
Players can find this event in the Speed Drift tab during the collaboration window. It’s the main way to earn Bugatti-themed rewards.
- Use UC to Accelerate
Players can choose between Normal Acceleration (free, but risky) or Safe Acceleration (uses UC and ensures forward progress). Reaching milestones earns badges.
- Redeem the Chiron Skin
After collecting badges, players can visit the Rewards Redemption section and claim the Bugatti Chiron skin, when it becomes available.
KRAFTON’s Bigger Vision
This update aligns with KRAFTON’s 2025 roadmap, which promised realistic vehicle experiences and better game performance. The roadmap also addresses anti-cheat improvements to maintain fair gameplay while adding premium content.
