Instagram is testing a new feature allowing users to schedule direct messages (DMs) for specific times, aimed at improving communication efficiency. Currently available to select Android users, this feature is expected to roll out widely soon.

How It Works:
- Open a chat and type your message.
- Hold down the send button to access the scheduling screen.
- Choose a date and time for delivery.
- Confirm the schedule, and a notification will confirm the message is queued.
Scheduled messages are sent automatically, even if the user is offline, making it ideal for birthday wishes, professional notes, or late-night communication.
This addition aligns with Instagram’s existing post and reel scheduling features, offering greater flexibility to users. Positive feedback suggests it may become a valuable tool for personal and professional use.
