Instagram is currently testing a new feature that allows users to add a poll option in the comment section under their posts. Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram, announced this update on his platform. The purpose of this feature is to assist creators in enhancing engagement with their posts.

Users will have the ability to include polls in both regular feed posts and Reels, and the format will be similar to the polls shared in stories. However, the duration for which these polls will remain open after being posted is currently unclear.
This feature is part of an effort to make the comment section more interactive and engaging. It is presently in the testing phase with a limited audience and will be introduced to a wider user base in the near future.
