In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the telecom regulator assured that the fault has been promptly rectified, and internet services have been fully restored nationwide.

During the disruption, social media platforms, including X, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, became inaccessible around 6:45 pm and remained unavailable until 10:00 pm. This marks the third occurrence in just over a month where social media platforms faced temporary unavailability in Pakistan.
The PTA’s acknowledgment of a technical fault and subsequent resolution provides clarity on the cause of the disruption, offering assurance to users about the restoration of internet services across the country.
