Apple’s iPhone 17 lineup is receiving larger discounts across several international markets.
The price cuts come shortly before Apple’s expected September 9 event.
Retailers appear to be reducing existing stock ahead of anticipated new iPhone announcements. Reports suggest Apple could introduce the iPhone 18 Pro models and a foldable iPhone.
Some iPhone 17 models have now reached their lowest reported prices in selected markets. The discounts could attract buyers if the next generation launches at higher prices.
iPhone 17 Discounts Increase in the UK
Amazon UK has increased discounts across several models compared with the previous week.
The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are now around $203 below their original launch prices.
Last week, the estimated discount was around $135 on both models.
The standard iPhone 17 is also receiving a discount after remaining at its regular price last week. Its current reduction is equivalent to approximately $135.
The 512GB iPhone Air has received one of the biggest discounts.
Its price has dropped by approximately $270 compared with its launch price. Currys and John Lewis are also offering discounts on selected Pro models.
Their reductions are equivalent to around $135 on the Pro and Pro Max.
The converted dollar figures are approximate because UK prices are originally listed in British pounds.
iPhone Discounts Spread Across Europe
Retailers in several European countries are also offering reduced prices. MediaMarkt Spain is offering the 256GB iPhone 17 Pro Max for approximately $1,532.
That represents an estimated saving of $174, or around 10.2% from its launch price.
In Germany, MediaMarkt lists the iPhone 17 Pro at approximately $1,369. The Pro Max is available for around $1,543.
Both represent estimated discounts of roughly $139.
PcComponentes in Spain is offering the Pro model for approximately $1,427. That price represents an estimated saving of around $105.
Actual dollar values may vary because the figures are converted from pounds and euros.
iPhone 18 Could Carry Higher Prices
The discounts arrive as reports point toward higher prices for Apple’s next-generation Pro models. The iPhone 18 Pro could reportedly cost between $100 and $200 more than its predecessor.
Reports have linked the potential increase to higher memory costs and wider supply pressures.
Similar pressures have affected pricing across other technology products during 2026. Meanwhile, the standard iPhone 18 is reportedly not expected until spring 2027.
If accurate, Apple’s upcoming lineup could initially focus on premium models and other new devices.
For consumers, the discounted iPhone 17 lineup may therefore become a more attractive option. However, buyers should compare local prices before making a purchase.
Discounts can vary significantly between retailers, storage capacities and countries.
