Meta Platforms is reportedly in advanced talks to invest over $10 billion in Scale AI, a leading artificial intelligence startup, according to Bloomberg. While the deal is not yet finalized, it marks Meta’s deepening push into AI-driven advertising and automation.
Scale AI, founded in 2016 and valued at nearly $14 billion, is backed by major players like Nvidia, Amazon, and Meta itself. The company specializes in data labeling and hosts a platform connecting AI researchers across over 9,000 global locations.

Meta’s potential investment aligns with its broader vision of AI-powered advertising. Sources say the company is building a tool that allows businesses to create and target ads using AI—by simply submitting a budget and a product image. The rest would be handled entirely by Meta’s AI.
CEO Mark Zuckerberg has hinted at this shift, stating last year that Meta aims to let advertisers define their goals and budgets while the AI handles execution.
