OnePlus has introduced two new gaming smartphones, the Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro, in China. Both devices feature powerful processors, built-in cooling fans, large batteries, and high-refresh-rate displays.

The new smartphones are designed for users who want improved gaming performance, longer battery life, and advanced camera features.

Both models offer 9,000mAh batteries, 100W fast charging, and 200MP main cameras.

The Ace 7 starts at approximately $655, while the Ace 7 Pro has a starting price of around $715.

The launch comes less than three weeks after the company introduced its flagship OnePlus 16 smartphone.

Large AMOLED Displays With 185Hz Refresh Rate

Both smartphones feature 6.78-inch AMOLED displays with a resolution of 2772 × 1272 pixels.

The screens support a 165Hz refresh rate during regular use. In compatible games, the refresh rate can reach 185Hz.

This feature is designed to provide smoother visuals and improve the gaming experience.

The company has also introduced eye-protection technology to reduce discomfort during extended screen use.

Both phones feature metal frames, stereo speakers, and X-axis vibration motors for improved gaming feedback.

The devices also carry IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.

The regular Ace 7 comes in black, white, and red-and-gold gradient finishes.

Meanwhile, the Pro model offers black, white, and a special wind-inspired design with a frosted glass back.

Powerful Processors and Advanced Cooling Technology

The Ace 7 uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V-series processor.

The Ace 7 Pro features the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset for higher gaming performance.

Both smartphones offer up to 16GB of RAM.

The regular model supports up to 512GB of storage, while the Pro version offers up to 1TB.

One of the biggest improvements is the new Ice River dual-channel cooling system.

Unlike the previous generation, both phones include built-in cooling fans to control temperatures during demanding tasks.

The cooling system uses two airflow channels to manage heat.

One channel directs cool air toward the processor, while the second helps cool the phone’s back panel.

According to the company, the system can reduce processor temperatures by up to 10°C during extended gaming.

The phones also feature vapor chambers, cooling fins, and AI-powered temperature sensors.

These sensors automatically adjust fan speed according to the device’s temperature.

Special Gaming Chips Improve Performance

OnePlus has included three dedicated chips to improve gaming performance.

The T3 chip is designed to improve touchscreen response and reduce input delays.

The company claims it can reduce swipe delays by 80% and tap delays by 43%.

The phones also support gyroscope sampling rates of up to 800Hz during gaming.

Meanwhile, the G3 chip helps reduce network delays during online matches.

The P4 display chip manages screen-related processing to support smoother visuals.

Both devices run Android 17 with ColorOS 17.

The software includes AI Notes, AI Tap, Xiaobu Assistant, and Fluid Cloud Fusion.

Additional features include NFC, an infrared blaster, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor beneath the display.

200MP Cameras With Advanced Video Features

Both smartphones feature a 200MP primary camera for photography.

However, the secondary camera systems differ between the two models.

The regular Ace 7 includes an 8MP ultrawide camera for capturing wider scenes.

The Ace 7 Pro features a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom.

The Pro model also supports 4K video recording at 120 frames per second.

Users can record 8K videos at 30 frames per second, alongside Log video recording.

Both smartphones include 16MP front cameras for selfies and video calls.

Massive 9,000mAh Batteries With 100W Charging

Battery capacity is another major highlight of the new smartphones.

Both devices feature large 9,000mAh batteries designed to support extended gaming and everyday use.

They also support 100W wired fast charging.

Another useful feature is bypass charging, which allows the phone to receive power directly during gaming.

This reduces the need to charge the battery while playing and can help control heat.

The feature may be particularly useful for gamers who spend long hours playing demanding mobile games.

The regular Ace 7 starts at approximately $655 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.

The 16GB RAM and 256GB storage version costs around $730.
