Oppo has officially confirmed that its much-awaited Reno15 series will launch in China next week. The new lineup marks another step in the companyโs effort to strengthen its position in the premium mid-range smartphone market.
The announcement was made through a teaser video shared on Weibo. Although the short clip did not reveal the device design, it confirmed that Oppo is preparing for a major unveiling event.
According to leaks and insider reports, the Reno15 lineup will include three models โ the Reno15, Reno15 Pro, and Reno15 Mini. Each model is expected to feature design upgrades, improved performance, and enhanced camera capabilities compared to the previous Reno14 series.
Display and Design
Reports suggest the standard Reno15 will feature a 6.59-inch flat OLED display, while the Reno15 Pro could include a larger 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED panel with ultra-thin bezels. The Reno15 Mini may offer a compact 6.31-inch OLED display, ideal for users who prefer a smaller phone.
Performance and Memory
The Reno15 Pro is expected to use the same processor as the Reno14 Pro, providing smooth daily performance and light gaming support. It may also come with up to 16GB of RAM, ensuring efficient multitasking and lag-free operation.
Camera Upgrades
Oppo appears to be focusing heavily on camera performance this time. The Pro and Mini variants are expected to feature a triple-lens rear setup with a 200MP Samsung HP5 main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. All models will likely include a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Battery and Software
Battery capacity is also getting a boost, with the Reno15 Pro reportedly including a 6,300mAh cell that supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. The phones are expected to run on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, offering improved speed, animations, and customisation options.
The Reno15 series will debut in China on November 17 at 7 p.m. local time. A global rollout, including India, is expected in December, though there is no official word on a Pakistan launch yet.
