Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra to Feature Upgraded Ultra-Wide Camera

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

Rumors about significant camera upgrades for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra have been tempered with the latest reports, revealing that only the ultra-wide camera will see an enhancement. The upcoming model will include a 50MP ISOCELL JN3 sensor for the ultra-wide lens, while the rest of the camera setup will largely remain the same. The main camera will continue to utilize the 200MP ISOCELL HP2 sensor, alongside a 10MP telephoto module with the Sony IMX754 sensor and a 50MP IMX854 sensor for the 5x zoom feature.

In addition to the upgraded ultra-wide camera, leaked images from Ice Universe showcase a new design for the camera lenses. Each lens is now encircled by a thick, dark ring, giving the phone a bulkier appearance while aligning with the styling seen in other S25 model renders. This design is reminiscent of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, although the S25 Ultra’s camera does not feature the same prominent bump.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to offer a more refined user experience, with rounded corners and improved ergonomics, making it lighter and narrower than previous models. While the camera layout may appear familiar, these subtle design changes aim to enhance overall usability, providing a sleeker profile that integrates well with phone cases, which will create a flat back for the device.

Samsung is anticipated to unveil the Galaxy S25 series in January next year, continuing its tradition of launching new flagship models at the beginning of the year. As excitement builds, the upgraded ultra-wide camera and fresh design are sure to attract attention from smartphone enthusiasts.
