A Tesla Cybertruck ended up underwater in Ventura Harbor, California, after the driver mistakenly accelerated in reverse instead of forward. The vehicle sank about eight feet before emergency responders arrived.

The driver escaped unharmed, but authorities, including a Tesla engineer, monitored the scene due to risks from the truck’s lithium-ion battery. The Cybertruck was later retrieved and towed away.
