The problem affects trucks built between November 2023 and February 2025, with Tesla blaming adhesive vulnerable to temperature changes. Production was briefly paused as the issue was investigated.

This marks the eighth recall for the Cybertruck, adding to previous concerns over wipers, pedals, and braking. Tesla will replace the adhesive at no cost to owners.
