WhatsApp has introduced a new feature making it easier to access Meta AI directly from the Chats tab. The update is part of the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS, version 24.25.10.79, designed to improve user interaction with AI tools by making them more visible and user-friendly.
Previously, the shortcut to access Meta AI was located at the top of the navigation bar, but the recent change positions it within the Chats tab. This move is expected to benefit users with larger devices who might find it inconvenient to reach the top of the screen, enhancing accessibility and encouraging exploration of WhatsApp’s AI-powered functionalities.

The new design allows users to engage with creative features such as generating personalized images and content using Meta AI. By aligning the update with similar designs in the Android version, where the shortcut appears as a floating action button, WhatsApp ensures a consistent user experience across platforms.
Currently, this feature is available to select beta testers via the TestFlight app. While in its testing phase, WhatsApp may further tweak the design based on feedback before a wider rollout in the coming weeks.
