This update is included in the “WhatsApp for iOS 24.13.79” release and is designed to simplify the sharing process on the platform.
WABetaInfo reports that WhatsApp is publicly testing this feature, enabling channel owners to easily forward messages, photos, videos, and GIFs from any channel to their own. Users can try this by selecting their own channel in the forwarding picker screen when forwarding content from another channel. This feature aims to enhance information sharing across channels, reducing intermediary steps and boosting efficiency.
