According to sources, the standard Xiaomi 17 could have a 7,000 mAh battery. The Pro model may have a smaller 6,300 mAh cell. The Pro Max appears to lead with a 7,500 mAh battery. These numbers are much higher than those in the previous Xiaomi 15 line.
Charging speeds are also expected to improve. All three phones may support 100 W fast charging. That is an upgrade over the 90 W charging seen in earlier models. Wireless charging support is rumored too.
The design of the Xiaomi 17 series is getting attention. In the video, there is a large external or rear “Magic Back Screen” above the cameras.
