Minister of State for Interior, Tallal Chaudhry, announced that Afghan nationals holding Proof of Registration (PoR) cards will not encounter any issues until June 30, as Pakistan begins a repatriation campaign for foreign nationals residing illegally in the country.
Chaudhry made this statement during a meeting with an Afghan delegation, which was led by Acting Afghan Minister for Commerce and Industry, Haji Nooruddin Azizi, and included the Afghan Minister for Refugees and Repatriation, the Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan, and other senior officials.

To facilitate this, over 50 transit camps equipped with medical and other essential services have been set up across the country. Additionally, complaint cells have been created under the Ministry of Interior and provincial chief secretaries to ensure smooth operations and prevent any issues.
The Afghan delegation expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s hospitality over the years. During the meeting, Haji Nooruddin Azizi reiterated Afghanistan’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral security and trade relations with Pakistan.
