It seems like it’s Karan Johar’s lucky day, as the renowned Chahat Fateh Ali Khan has offered to appear in the Indian director’s films “at no cost”!
The singer’s “special message” for Johar followed after the director shared Khan’s cover of ‘Tauba Tauba’ on his Instagram stories, labeling it a must-see and adding a heart emoji.

Johar is the producer of Bad Newz, the film starring Vicky Kaushal, which featured Karan Aujla’s popular track ‘Tauba Tauba’. As a talented singer, Khan quickly released his own rendition of the song, titled ‘Toba Toba’, featuring altered lyrics and a distinct melody.
Aujla responded to the video with a comment saying, “Uncle na karo please,” to which Khan, showing good humor, liked the remark and continued to sing. In his special message to Johar, Khan performed “Happy Birthday” to celebrate the producer’s birthday, despite the fact that Johar’s actual birthday is on May 25, making Khan quite early for next year’s celebration.
Khan expressed his gratitude for Johar’s support of his song and acting, calling him a “kingmaker” and praising him as a producer, singer, actor, and model, although it was unclear when Johar had ever modeled.
Khan was so thrilled by Johar’s comment that he reportedly “could not sleep for three nights,” which is understandable given the significance of receiving recognition from one of the world’s top producers. Naturally, we’re excitedly anticipating Khan’s debut in one of Johar’s films. Could he possibly share the screen with Shahrukh Khan? That might be an overwhelming amount of star power for audiences!
