A tragic incident surfaced on Saturday in a village of Kasur, where a man brutally murdered his pregnant wife over suspicions of an extramarital affair.
The crime occurred in Sarai Mughar village, where the accused used a sharp weapon to kill his 35-year-old wife, who was also a mother of two daughters.
According to Sarai Mughal police, the suspect fled the scene immediately after committing the crime. Authorities have formed special teams to apprehend him, while an investigation into the case is underway. Following legal formalities, the victim’s body was handed over to her family.

In a separate incident last month, a man in Sanda, Lahore, brutally killed his wife by slitting her throat after forming an illicit relationship with her sister.
Police confirmed that the suspects involved in the young woman’s murder were arrested within 24 hours. Lahore Police Operations Wing swiftly traced and detained the perpetrators.
The case was officially registered under FIR No. 413/25 at Sanda Police Station. Following the crime, the DIG Operations took notice and assigned a special team under SP Iqbal Town Bilal Ahmed to investigate the matter.
DSP Zakariya Yousaf, along with SHO Sanda Rizwan Khan and his team, successfully arrested the primary suspect within a day.
Authorities revealed that the victim, Rida, was murdered by her husband, Shamshad. The accused had developed an affair with Rida’s sister, Samra, and together they conspired to kill her.
Shamshad, who worked night shifts, returned home under the guise of bringing a burger for his wife. Seizing the opportunity, he ruthlessly slit her throat. Following an extensive investigation, police arrested both Shamshad and Samra.
