A police head constable has been taken into custody for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor at a juvenile detention center in Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan.
The accused, identified as Ghulam Haider Chandio, was assigned to a ward within the facility. His arrest was made following directives issued by the court.
The victim accused the officer of sexual assault during a court hearing, prompting the judge to order the immediate arrest of the suspect and the initiation of legal proceedings against him.
Authorities stated that a medical examination of the child would be conducted as part of the investigation into the allegations.
