Security agencies in Punjab have gathered comprehensive data on Afghan women living in the province, detailing their locations, ages, and legal statuses. The statistics reveal that out of 6,308 Afghan women, 1,828 are undocumented, with Rawalpindi and Gujranwala reporting the highest numbers.
Rawalpindi has identified 720 undocumented Afghan women, while Gujranwala has the largest group of documented residents, with 3,398 women holding Afghan Citizen Cards. In Lahore, 296 women possess Afghan Citizen Cards, and 419 are undocumented.

In terms of age distribution, there are 1,915 Afghan girls under 18, 2,987 women aged 18 to 35, 921 women aged 35 to 50, and 485 women over 50 living in Punjab.
These findings raise serious concerns about the presence of undocumented Afghan nationals in the region, prompting authorities to take action to ensure national security and the well-being of all residents.
