The ongoing wave of terrorism in Balochistan has claimed more lives, as six people were killed when Baloch militants attacked a bus traveling from Gwadar to Karachi on Tuesday.
According to local media reports, the incident took place in the Kalmat area, where armed assailants intercepted a Karachi-bound passenger coach and opened fire, killing five individuals on the spot. Another victim later succumbed to injuries at the hospital.

Among the deceased, one was identified as a resident of Multan. While the exact motive behind the attack remains unknown, authorities are treating it as an act of terrorism.
Pakistani officials strongly condemned the brutal assault, labeling it a cowardly act of violence against innocent civilians. Senior government figures, including the Interior Minister, expressed deep condolences to the victims’ families and emphasized that such attacks are crimes against humanity.
The Interior Minister reaffirmed the government’s unwavering resolve to eliminate terrorism and stated that such incidents would not deter the nation’s commitment to fighting extremism.
In a previous attack, several laborers from Punjab were also shot dead by unidentified gunmen while working on a tube well installation in the Mangocher area of Balochistan.
As investigations into these incidents continue, authorities have intensified security measures across the region to counter the escalating threat posed by the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and other banned groups.
