Fatal Plane Crash at California Warehouse Leaves Two Dead and 18 Injured

On Thursday, January 2, 2025, a devastating plane crash claimed the lives of two individuals and left 18 others injured when a small aircraft crashed into a furniture warehouse in Southern California.

The incident took place in the 2300 block of Raymer Avenue, roughly 6 miles northwest of Disneyland. The Van’s RV-10 plane, which was returning to the airport, collided with the building, igniting a fire.

Two people were confirmed dead, while 10 victims were taken to nearby hospitals and eight received treatment at the scene. The identities of the deceased have yet to be disclosed, as well as whether they were aboard the plane or on the ground.

The aircraft took off at 2:07 p.m., crashing just two minutes later, about 300 yards from the airport runway. Firefighters fought a four-alarm fire with thick smoke pouring from the warehouse, leading to the evacuation of surrounding businesses.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the cause of the crash.
