Iran Launches Fresh Attacks on US and Israeli Targets, Rejects Trump’s Ceasefire Claims

WASHINGTON/TEHRAN – Iran has launched its 78th wave of missile attacks targeting US bases in the Gulf region and Israeli locations. The latest escalation has raised global concerns about a wider regional conflict.

According to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the attacks are part of a military campaign called “Operation True Promise 4.” The operation reportedly targets strategic military sites across the region using advanced missile and drone systems.

Iranian officials said the recent strikes focused on several locations in Israel. These included Eilat, Dimona, and areas in northern Tel Aviv. The attacks reportedly involved coordinated launches of multi-warhead missiles and drones.

The IRGC confirmed the use of long-range ballistic missiles such as Emad and Ghadr. These missiles demonstrate Iran’s ability to strike targets at extended distances. Military sources also indicated that several combat units have not yet been fully deployed.

Officials said forces from the Revolutionary Guard and the Basij militia remain on standby. They warned that these units could be mobilized if tensions continue to rise. Such a move could intensify the conflict further.

An Iranian military official also delivered a strong message to former US President Donald Trump. The official urged him to pay attention to developments in global markets and regional security rather than social media statements. He also warned that Iran is preparing a major “surprise” that could have serious consequences.

Iran’s Conditions for Possible Ceasefire

Amid the growing conflict, Iran has outlined several strict conditions for ending hostilities. Iranian authorities said these conditions are part of a broader legal and security framework.

A senior official confirmed that several regional mediators proposed ceasefire ideas. In response, Iran presented six key demands. These include a guarantee that the war will not resume and the closure of US military bases in the region.

Other demands include the withdrawal of hostile forces and compensation for war damages. Iran also called for a complete end to conflicts across regional fronts. Another condition involves establishing a new legal framework for the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran also requested legal action against media outlets it considers hostile and the expulsion of individuals involved in such activities.

Diplomatic Efforts Continue

Despite the rising tensions, diplomatic discussions are still ongoing. On Monday, Donald Trump announced a temporary pause in possible strikes on Iran’s energy infrastructure.

He said the decision followed positive discussions between both sides. The United States reportedly agreed to halt military actions for at least five days to allow negotiations to continue.

Trump stated that the United States wants to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. He also noted that communication with Iran’s top leadership has taken place.

However, officials warned that reaching a final agreement may take time. Several key issues remain unresolved, and the possibility of a quick ceasefire remains uncertain.
